An Easy Sauce-Free Individual Pizza Pie
I’m hungry. I’m on Low Carb for the second day.
I want PIZZA! Thanks to a great, inspiring Facebook Low-Carb/Keto group, I had this for lunch and am now just fine, thank you.
You can take the carbs out of the girl, but you can’t take the girl out of carbs….? or something like that. You know what I mean. I figured the total net carbs of one of these is 6 carbs. Not bad for a fully satisfying crunchy pizza.
So, here’s the deal. I’m not, and I mean NOT, ever going to make pizza crust from cauliflower. I’m also NOT going to handmake some dough with cream cheese and other stuff. This is the way I want to do a pizza. Take the “crust” out of the package, top it with stuff and bake it on high heat to make it crispy and fulfilling. this is the ticket. It makes an individual pizza, and it’s what I found at Walmart today. Pita Bread!
So, for 1 it’s 5 net carbs. I detest sauce on pizza anyway, so I just left it off.
First, mozzarella topped with a sprinkle of dry Italian seasoning. Then pepperoni (full fat, not turkey), chopped green pepper (only 1 little slice chopped up), some garlic seasoning and more mozzarella, followed by grated parmesan cheese. 400 degrees and it took only about 7 minutes, maybe not even that long. Be sure and watch-don’t walk off!
The bottom of the crust looked like this
Bake it less if you don’t like yours crispy and brown like I do. I couldn’t eat it fast enough it was so good.
